A celebrant gives you creative freedom & choice

It’s lovely to welcome you, I’m Elaine.

I’m a trained independent civil celebrant based in Wimbledon SW London, and also have 17 years experience as a parenting coach, neuro diversity specialist, and speaker. I’m also the author of ‘My Child’s Different.

But first and foremost, I love celebrations and celebrating the various life stages we all go through, whether that’s welcoming a new addition into the family, tying the knot for the first, second or third time, or celebrating the life of a beloved family member who has died, including your four legged friends.

Whatever Life Act you’re in, there is cause to celebrate.

I also love story telling, and whether it’s your love story, or celebrating the life of a loved one who has passed, a good narrator can transform a ceremony.

Together we can ensure your wedding day is the one that everyone remembers and talks about with a smile, or is the funeral where you and your guests actually leave feeling soothed and secure in the knowledge that their beloved’s life has been celebrated.

My story

I’ve been married to my gorgeous Kiwi hubster for 33 years, and whilst our wedding day in Scotland was truly memorable, I realise now it was a cookie cutter day, where everything played out traditionally in a semi-religious environment. The lack of creativity and uniqueness compared to the weddings today, presents a stark difference, but there is of course a perfect opportunity for us to celebrate again and renew our vows.

Family is at the heart of everything I have done to date in my life, so whether it’s a name changing ceremony, welcoming an adopted child into a new family, a new puppy, or acknowledging the loss of a newborn child, as an experienced parenting coach and speaker, I can bring wisdom, depth of presence and a clarity to every ceremony.

I’m no showy Master of Ceremonies.

I’m just me. Human. Real.

Whether your ceremony is quirky, messy, heartfelt, vulnerable or joyful…….it will be wonderful because it will represent you and it’s your day.

Whatever your celebration, ‘Happy Ever After’ starts here.

Elaine, I can’t thank you enough for all your support preparing for Jill’s funeral. It was such a beautiful day and you the captured the essence of her so poignantly. Heartfelt thanks
